How a batch runs

Your problem goes in. A room of builders ships it out.

Sponsors bring the problem. We run the rest of the line, from the brief to the demo, with a playbook we reuse for each batch.

  1. 01

    Intake

    Problem in.

A company, a city or a community group brings us a problem or a theme. Keep it open (build anything on our platform) or pin it down (read a permit PDF and price its carbon).

  2. 02

    Spec

    Brief out.

Our template turns your problem into a brief teams can build against. It covers context, data, constraints and how judges will score the work.

  3. 03

    Tooling

    Floor set.

We book a recurring venue and line up partners for cloud credits, AI credits, GPUs and hardware before anyone arrives.

  4. 04

    Crew

    Builders punch in.

We pull builders, mentors and judges from a standing roster. At least one judge deals with your problem day to day.

  5. 05

    Run

    Build.

Teams work alongside AI agents for the whole event. You get a room of people steering those agents at your problem.

  6. 06

    Ship

    Across the line.

We pay out bounties and hand over prototypes. Sponsors hire or contract the people they want, and strong teams can start companies.

Formats

Two dials we set for each event.

Open ⟷ Defined

Open: “Here's our platform. Build something interesting on it.” This works for showing off a platform and drawing a crowd.

Defined: “Here's the problem, the data and how we'll judge it.” This works when you need the problem solved.

We pick one end of the dial for each event.

Shared ⟷ Exclusive

Shared: several sponsors in one industry back a theme, like construction, energy or finance.

Exclusive: one sponsor, one specific problem and first look at the people who solve it.

Exclusive costs the sponsor more.

Beyond the weekend

After the demos.

Bounties

Specific outcomes with cash attached, inside an event or on the open board.

Contracts & hires

Sponsors bring winning teams in for 3–6 months to build the solution out. Many builders want that kind of contract.

New ventures

If a sponsor wants the solution and other buyers exist, the team can start a company with its first customer signed.
